Ocean Week at Irving Nature Park

June 8th 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark will be celebrating Ocean Week Canada at the Irving Nature Park in Saint John!

We will have a giant interactive floor map outside the park Interpretation Centre that allows the public to experience how our waterways are interconnected. Stonehammer staff will be on hand to answer questions about the landscape, geology, and history of the area, highlighting how the ocean has influenced our region for a long time!

Event to Celebrate the Bay of Fundy

June 4th 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Join CPAWS New Brunswick, CPAWS Nova Scotia, and Oceans North at the Huntsman Marine Science Centre on June 4th from 4-6 pm to celebrate the Bay of Fundy!

Enjoy interactive activities, stunning photos, and informative materials showcasing efforts to conserve and protect the marine ecosystems of this significant area. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. This free event is open to the public.
