Fisheries and Oceans Canada has teamed up with the Eastern School District for an exciting hands-on learning experience in Colliers, Newfoundland and Labrador! Students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at Immaculate Conception School are rolling up their sleeves for a beach cleanup and will have the special opportunity to learn from DFO Fishery Officers about species at risk and how we can all play a part in protecting marine life. It’s was a day of action, learning, and coastal care – inspiring the next generation of Ocean Stewards!
