Learn about the Salish Sea and our most charismatic species with Prince of Whales and Pacific Wild Alliance!

This free community event — on the Salish Sea Eclipse, docked in the inner harbour — is fun for the whole family.

What’s happening:

• Drop-in education event aboard Prince of Whale’s largest vessel
• Hear all about seals, whales otters and more from Prince of Whale’s on-board naturalists and Pacific Wild’s Marine Specialist
• Learn about the importance of photo-identification for whales, how it works and try your hand at identifying some of the Salish Sea’s “regular suspects”
• Check out the inner workings of marine mammals, there will be an impressive display of bones and baleen on board!
• Complementary coffee, tea and hot chocolate offered at the event
