The Global Sustainable Islands Summit, co-hosted with the Government of Prince Edward Island, will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, civil society actors and researchers to discuss and explore innovative solutions and advancements for island sustainable development. The event will cover a diverse array of topics, including: Policy frameworks and financing for renewable energy and cleantech – Sustainable transportation and resilient infrastructure – Energy efficiency and energy storage – Climate change adaptation and resilience building – Community engagement towards a low-carbon future – Innovation and technology for island sustainable development.

The summit is scheduled for May 21-23, 2024, and will be held in-person at the Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
