Join Surfrider Vancouver to celebrate Ocean Week Canada and World Ocean Day at Spanish Banks! Help protect Vancouver’s coastline, connect with an amazing community, and enjoy tasty snacks from Tacofino. Volunteers can pick up litter along the beach or help as litter sorters, learning about what can be recycled and how to properly dispose of beach waste. Water Rangers will also be on hand with an interactive water quality demo. Buckets, work gloves, and pickers are provided, but feel free to bring your own. Closed-toed shoes required for safety.
