Surfrider Foundation Canada‘s Atlantic Chapter is hosting an interactive harbourfront cleanup, featuring a scavenger hunt where participants will locate and record their findings of common items such as cigarette butts and plastic waste. Participants will gain increased awareness of waste reaching our harbour and coastlines and receive information about our organization including our monthly cleanups and our campaigns. Attendees will speak with members of the Atlantic Chapter’s Executive Team, view water sampling equipment, and help us gather data about the debris and trash collected together.

All participants will be invited to sign-up for future beach cleanups and will be able to enter a draw to win a prize basket with ocean-friendly products.
