STAN Conference 2023, Agents of Change in a New Era

February 14th 2023 - February 16th 2023
Virtual

The Science and Technology Awareness Network will launch its 2023 virtual Conference February 14-16!

This year’s STAN Conference theme, Agents of Change in a New Era, will be an opportunity to consider how our industry and work has evolved over the past few years. It will highlight the shifts we have experienced in our practices to reflect on how these changes affect the way we work and how we can embrace the change to build new ways forward. We will focus on breaking down barriers, new ways of thinking, and how to support youth and our future work.

The Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition and the National Film Board (an Ocean Week Canada partner) will participate in a panel discussion February 15, 2023 at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Eastern Time. The discussion theme: Exploring the Use of Technology in STEM Learning will highlight the Ocean, Freshwater and Us giant floor map and the augmented reality extension as effective tools to support ocean awareness and education.

Registration is required.
