The Whale Sanctuary Project and St. Mary’s Municipality invite you to join us for the first-ever St. Mary’s Ocean Day Celebration on June 1st from 1-4 PM!
As part of World Ocean Day, this event celebrates all things ocean – like science, conservation, and community involvement – all in way that’s fun and educational for the whole family.
Find us under the big blue tent where you can take part in ocean-themed games and face painting, explore artifacts, meet ocean experts, learn from many visiting organizations, and enjoy light refreshments. Highlights include the opportunity to traverse a giant walkable map of Canada’s seafloor and immerse yourself in a 360-degree video experience that enables you to feel like you’re walking underwater.
We hope you can join us on Saturday, June 1st from 1-4pm at the Whale Sanctuary Visitor’s Centre in Sherbrooke, NS. For location information and further details, check out our poster. Be sure to bring your friends and family!
