Specimen Spectacular: Ocean Week Pop-Up Display

Ocean Week Victoria

June 3rd 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Victoria, British Columbia

The ocean is full of mysteries – and so is the Royal BC Museum’s natural history collection. For Ocean Week Victoria, we’re bringing rarely seen specimens out of the collections and into the spotlight. From deep-sea creatures to coastal marvels, every area of our natural history department will be showcasing ocean-related specimens that are usually stored behind the scenes.

Drop in, explore, and chat with our curators and collection managers to uncover the fascinating stories behind these specimens. Whether you’re curious about marine mammals, tide pool wonders, or the ancient history of the sea, this is your chance to see the ocean’s secrets up close.
