Ocean Week Campbell River is pleased to present a special screening of “Send Kelp!”

SYNOPSIS: A bootstrapping seaweed nerd takes on climate change and global food insecurity armed with nothing but determination when she sets out to start her own kelp farm off the coast of Vancouver Island.

Join us after the screening for a Q+A with filmmaker Blake McWilliam and researchers from North Island College to discuss the film and all things kelp.
