As a scientific diver and marine conservationist, Francheska “Scuba Franny” Krysiak spends a lot of time in the ocean.  She will share her incredible journey of becoming a scientific diver capable of accessing marine ecosystems in the under-explored mesophotic zone, which extends from 30 to 150 meters beneath the surface (100 to 500 feet!). Through underwater images and video footage from research & restoration expeditions, this presentation offers a personal perspective and a rare glimpse into the world of studying extreme ocean environments. This presentation is suitable for all ages. Franny will also have her underwater photography prints for sale.
