Science comes to the waterfront in Trois-Pistoles, and this is an opportunity not to be missed!

As part of Ocean Week Quebec, the scientific committee from École secondaire catholique L’Escale is teaming up with a teacher from École secondaire Trois-Pistoles to offer an unforgettable interpretive outing at the local pier. Two groups of high school students will have the chance to discover the wonders of the estuary that surrounds them, from fascinating tides to mysterious bodies of water, and the coastal flora and fauna that enrich their marine environment.

Thanks to funding received from Water Rangers for equipment, these budding young scientists will be able to explore their marine environment with their hands in the water, just like real field researchers!

This is the very first edition of this event, and the committee fully intends to make it an unmissable annual event. Because the better we know our sea, the more we love it and the better we protect it. The great adventure has only just begun!
