Ocean Wise is proud to bring an interactive education event to Oceans & You for the first time!

Oceans & You has been celebrated for over 20 years; this year, the event recognizes the UN World Oceans Day theme: Catalyzing Action for our Ocean & Climate.

Facing the Halifax Waterfront outside of the Marine Museum of the Atlantic, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with a collection of marine artifacts that feature the powerful shark jaw, sturdy sea turtle shell and plush arctic fox fur.

Guided by a team of expert educators, you will be empowered to design actions that are relevant to your surroundings by learning about the potential positive impacts for the marine life of the temperate Atlantic and the ocean as a whole.
