Join Water Rangers and rare as we celebrate Ocean Week for a group hike along rare’s Alvar/River Trail, where we’ll test the water of the Grand River. We’ll learn about the impact of our Grand River watershed and how to test water quality, including temperature, conductivity, oxygen levels, pH, alkalinity, and hardness, to understand its contribution to a healthy ecosystem.

Regardless of your proximity to the ocean, it plays a vital role in our daily lives because it’s all connected – from lakes, streams, rivers, to the shore and inland.
