Ocean Side Mingle – In Collaboration with Human Connection Club
Join us for a community-centered outdoor gathering that combines movement, creativity, conversation, and appreciation for the ocean.
Ocean Side Mingle is a collaborative event between Human Connection Club and Ocean Week Halifax designed to bring people together through meaningful social connection while celebrating the beauty and importance of our coastal environment.
The event will begin with a guided “Walk & Talk” experience through Point Pleasant Park, where participants will receive light connection prompts and rotate conversation partners every 15 minutes. The goal is to create an approachable and welcoming environment for meeting new people in nature.
Following the walk, participants will gather oceanside for a relaxed outdoor painting session. Mini canvases and painting supplies will be provided, and attendees will be invited to create ocean-inspired artwork while enjoying the scenery and community atmosphere.
This event encourages participants to slow down, spend time outdoors, connect with others, and creatively reflect on our relationship with the ocean.
