As part of Indigenous World Oceans Day at Miawpukek First Nation, students in Grades K-2 at St. Anne’s School will take part in a fun and interactive ocean education experience led by MAMKA and NAIA. Each class will enjoy an ocean-themed story, discussions about the importance of the ocean and how it connects to our daily lives, prize draws, ocean themed posters, and colouring activities. Students will also receive special giveaways, including fossil shells! A fun-filled day of learning, discovery, and ocean appreciation awaits!
