Water shapes us and water is life, but how do our local waterways connect us globally?
Meet Chris Brackley, the cartographer who designed the giant Ocean, Freshwater and Us map. Through this interactive and visual presentation, explore the foundational connections between us and the water that surrounds and sustains us.
Attendees will get to ‘dip their toes’ into the Ocean, Freshwater and Us map through a guided walk led by Chris. Chris will also share his experience developing this ocean-sized design as well as stories and insights about water, land and people he gained along the way.
This program is in celebration of World Environment Day and Ocean Week Canada and is part of TPL’s Our Fragile Planet program series, supported by Friends of Toronto Public Library, South Chapter.
No registration required.
