Ocean Community Mixer & Film Screening of Plastic People in support of Surfrider Atlantic Canada, May 28 6:30-9pm, Patagonia Halifax.
We’re stoked to welcome you to the 2nd annual ocean community mixer in support of Surfrider Atlantic! Featuring awesome door prizes, popcorn, kombucha, and a special screening of Plastic People to mark International Plastic Free Day.
RSVP is free with popcorn, Goodmore Kombucha, and raffle prize entries available by donation to Surfrider Atlantic. Both cash and card will be accepted.
Doors open at 6:30 for our community mixer where you can connect with passionate folks working to protect and celebrate our beautiful shorelines, including Surfrider, Ocean Week Halifax, and The Ark (who will accept donations of worn-out wetsuits for their recycling program). The film begins at 7pm.
Surfrider Foundation Canada is a registered non-profit and proud environmental partner of 1% for the Planet. 100% of funds raised will support Surfrider Atlantic’s programs, including Blue Water Task Force, a new local water quality testing program.
