This Ocean Week event will take place as a part of Watersheds Canada’s Nature Discovery Backpack lending library launch with the Girl Guides of Canada – Saskatchewan. The workshops will take place in/near Saskatoon and Regina in May 2024 and will include a nature field trip to use the backpacks (exploration tools, Water Rangers tiny testkits, field guides) to increase knowledge of local nature and species, and actions that can be led by the students to protect it. We will to enhance the freshwater action and community science component of the workshops with hands-on learning using Water Rangers education testkits.
