Join us at Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity for a cozy Movie night featuring The Last of the Right Whales, a powerful documentary following the critically endangered North Atlantic Right Whale. With fewer than 400 individuals remaining, these whales face challenges including ship strikes, fishing gear entanglement, and changing ocean conditions. Learn about researchers, rescues, and communities working to protect one of the world’s rarest whales.  

Bring your blanket, favorite hoodie, or whatever makes you comfortable; chairs will be provided!

5:00-5:45 – Explore Beaty Centre exhibits and Aquaria 

5:45-7:15 – The Last of the Right Whales screening 

7:15-7:45 – Q&A with the panelist(s) 

7:45-8:00 – Event wrap – up
