‘Ocean, Freshwater and Us’ giant floor map & AR Facilitated Field Trip

Imagine walking on a giant map, following the local river all the way to the ocean. What links could you make? What questions would you ask? Join us as we investigate the connections between ourselves and the water that surrounds and sustains us. This life-sized cartographic lens of the “Ocean, Freshwater and Us” giant map with augmented reality extension, helps raise our awareness offering opportunities to discover and celebrate our connection to coastal areas, the ocean, and watersheds in Canada. This is a BYOD session. Personal laptops/ smart device will facilitate access to digital teacher’s guide and media resources. Along iPad (iOS) or tablet (Android) to spawn the augmented reality experience. Repeated in the afternoon as session CD-01
