On June 5 from 10am to 4pm, Water Rangers will be at Science World in Vancouver with a hands-on water monitoring station open to all visitors. Come try the same tools our community scientists use in the field – test strips, dissolved oxygen kits, and conductivity meters – on real water samples from freshwater and marine sites. We’ll be on hand to walk you through what the results mean and how they connect to the health of local lakes, rivers, and ocean waters. You can also explore findings from our National Watersheds Report and learn how people just like you are collecting data that helps communities answer the questions that matter most: is my water healthy, and is it safe to swim? Looking for ways to act to protect water? Chat with us about what you can do to participate! Drop by anytime – no registration needed, all ages welcome.
