Students at St. Anne’s School will have a unique opportunity to explore our marine environment and ocean industries up close. Throughout the morning and lunchtime, a touch tank will be set up at the school, giving students the chance to discover and interact with local marine species. Junior and high school students will head to the wharf at 1pm for guided tours of an aquaculture net cleaner and MAMKA vessels, offering a firsthand look at the technology, and operations of marine industries. A great day of ocean education, exploration, and career awareness – connecting students with the ocean!
