Join us for an evening of ocean exploration with hands-on activities letting you explore the wonders of the sea! This all-ages event invites you to take part in a variety of activities including: 

• Seine net surveys: Get an up-close look at many of the creatures living just steps beyond the ocean’s shore
• Benthic invertebrate sampling: Want to see what lives below the sand? Help collect, sort and identify samples to uncover their identities. 
• Eelgrass monitoring: Assist in surveying the health of an eelgrass bed and learn more about these crucial marine nursery habitats.

Together we will also complete the final stretch of our Ocean Week Canada shoreline cleanup.
