The ever-popular “Descente du Richilieu” is back, and aims to bring together as many participants as possible to form a convoy of kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, dragon boats, or any other non-motorized watercraft (even swimmers!!!).
The descent follows the current, so it’s a breeze!
Scheduled times: 9:30 a.m.: First start (single and double boats). 10:15 a.m.: Second start (dragon boats and experienced participants). 11:00 AM: Open-water swim start (from Marine Mathias) 12:00 PM: Arrival at the OBC Canoe Club (Otterburn Park) 1:00 PM: Return shuttles begin to the starting point 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Musical performance by the band EmbaLe
