In honour of Ocean Week, come join us for a cleanup along the 2km stretch of road and shoreline in the vicinity of the Riverport Community Centre (RCC).

Following the cleanup (around 2pm), head over to the RCC for some refreshments and an open-house that showcases local watershed and coastal protection groups.

RCC is happy to be hosting Ocean Week Canada’s giant interactive “Ocean, Freshwater, and Us” floor map during that time! The map is made for walking on, allowing you to understand the ocean and waterways by physically experiencing them!  We invite you to bring your own device and explore the protection of ocean and freshwaters in Canada through Augmented Reality, 360 video, and other interactive activities will help bring this giant map to life!
