During Ocean Week 2025, Aruna Revolution is tagging along with two impactful organizations, Scotian Shores and Surfrider Atlantic, to help remove waste from Nova Scotia’s shorelines and raise awareness about a major but often overlooked contributor to ocean plastic: period products!
From tampon applicators to pad wrappers, plastic menstrual waste is a persistent issue on our coasts (and around the world), lingering around for centuries. During Ocean Week, we are inviting our community to help us pick up waste and learn how compostable products can be part of the solution!
