Ottawa, Ontario
Make the Museum your Canada Day destination!

Head to our Queens’ Lantern and dive into some great ocean-themed activities.

Stroll across a giant 11m x 8m floor map. Explore Canada’s waterways, marine protected areas, and wildlife in augmented reality!

Get artsy sculpting a tide-pool creature out of modelling clay or adding some brilliant hues to a special tidepool colouring sheet.

In the Mammal Gallery, chat with our friends from Parks Canada who will offer great tips for your next camping trip.

Hours: 10 am – 4 pm

Cost: free!

The Canadian Museum of Nature is proud to participate in Ocean Festival 2022, a summer-long national initiative that includes events, engagement opportunities and learning activities.

Note: We apologize that special programming in the Planet Ice exhibition or at the Pacific Discovery Tank in the Water Gallery will not be available on July 1.
