Join the Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS-NS) and Torpedo Rays Scuba Adventures for our annual Oceans Week Bioblitz! We’ll get in the water around 6pm and explore the underwater world at Terence Bay Beach.

Participants are encouraged to take photos of any and all species they find and post them on iNaturalist, a community database for species identification! Photos of species on the beach and in the sky are also encouraged! All entries will contribute to the ecological knowledge of the Sambro area.

After the dive, mingle with your fellow ocean lovers and find out what that strange critter you found might be!

• Free to participate! No registration required!
• Open to scuba divers, snorkelers, freedivers, and beach combers. All are welcome!
• This event is BYOG (Bring Your Own Gear).
• Please do not park on private property and be respectful of the local residents.
