The Discovery Passage Aquarium will be hosting its first ever public beach seine event on Tyee Spit!

During this event, we will be educating about what a beach seine is, how it is used, and how it is used for research (and aquarium collections)!

Aquarium staff will use the seine net to survey the nearby eelgrass bed, and educate viewers on our various catches prior to release.
