An Ocean Week Canada live painting/auction fundraiser with Dana Batho

Celebrate Ocean Week Canada with a special afternoon where art and conservation come together.

Join artist Dana Batho for a live painting experience in our atrium as an original artwork unfolds in real time, inspired by the beauty and interconnectedness of our coastal ecosystems.

Guests are invited to witness the creative process, connect with others, and support the important work of Raincoast Conservation Foundation.

The completed artwork will be auctioned online HERE, (auction will run for 7-10 days after artwork is finished), with 50% of proceeds of the artwork final bid donated to Raincoast Conservation Foundation to support the 2026 field season and conservation efforts to protect endangered killer whales and the ecosystems they depend on. To help maximize impact, The Parkside Hotel & Spa will make a matching contribution toward the final winning bid, up to a designated amount.
