From touch tanks and face painting to ocean glider demos and tours of the Aquatron, Canada’s largest ocean research facility, Community Day will offer programming and activities to meet the interests of every ocean enthusiast.

You will meet some of Dalhousie’s world-leading ocean researchers and learn about the ground-breaking work they do to understand this vast aquatic environment and conserve the creatures that call it home. Designed to engage and excite the young and young-at-heart, you will leave with a new appreciation of the ocean and the researchers who have made it the focus of their life’s work.
