June 8th 2022 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Vancouver, British Columbia
Visit Science World on June 8th to engage in fun ocean activities and learn about your local waterways and the ocean, featuring the Ocean, Freshwater, and Us Giant Floor Map!
On the beautiful Vancouver coast, you can walk along the map to follow the flow of water all across Canada, exploring your own connection to the ocean. Discover the growing network of Marine Protected Areas and learn about the life that lives around, and within, these many waterways. Staff from Ocean Week Canada will be there to guide your journey.
But that’s not all! Parks Canada, Swim Drink Fish, Year of the Salish Sea, the Tula Foundation, and False Creek Friends will be there with activity booths, ready to teach you all about your local waters and to hear your stories about how you are connected to the ocean.
