View the workshop agenda here

Join us for a workshop on community-driven water monitoring featuring panel discussions highlighting:

  • The work of Indigenous-led land and water projects in Toronto.
  • Efforts of nations and communities engaged in regular water monitoring with Water Rangers.
  • Action, outreach, and research needed based on monitoring findings.
  • Policy, planning, and governance implications in water monitoring.

In addition to panels, participants will engage in roundtable discussions over food to discuss panel insights, necessary actions, and collaborative opportunities. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in water sampling at the Toronto waterfront and engage in a community-based arts project presented by Earthworks Vision. We’re excited to welcome an honoured group of panelists and participants to contribute to this important dialogue on community-driven water monitoring.
