Join Parks Canada and partners, including Special Bird Service Society, for a full day of ocean-themed celebration on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən Peoples.

Special Bird Service Society will be hosting:
🪶 Free Interactive Birding & Ecology Walks at 10:30am & 12:30pm
🧤 Beach Cleanup (supplies provided)
🧪 Community Science using Water Rangers water testing kits
🔭 Binoculars available thanks to Nocs Provisions

From discovering tide pools, to creating colourful whale posters, and dancing with Super Ollie, there’s something for everyone. At 2:30 PM, don’t miss a special performance by the lək̓ʷəŋən Dancers at the Whale Trail.
Come celebrate, learn, and take action for the ocean through games, stewardship, and science.

This event is part of Ocean Week Canada, hosted by Parks Canada in collaboration with community partners like Special Bird Service Society.
