World Ocean Day Community Cleanup and Water Testing with Water Rangers

Ocean Week Vancouver

June 8th 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Vancouver, British Columbia

Meet us at the Kits Beach Public Washrooms at 11AM to clean along Kits Beach. Gloves and bags are provided, but bring your own if possible. Water Rangers will also be joining us, and we will be learning how to test water quality, including temperature, conductivity, oxygen levels, pH, alkalinity, and hardness, to understand its contribution to a healthy ecosystem. We’ll gather again at 12:30PM to sort and dispose of garbage, and snap a group photo!

Oceanspire is an ocean conservation initiative committed to reducing plastic pollution

At Oceanspire, we aim to protect the ocean and promote sustainable living.  It is our mission to reduce plastic culture, promote conscious consumerism and raise the standards of the health and beauty industry. We aspire to change the collective consciousness about plastic consumption through community engagement and consumer awareness.
