Celebrate the ocean with the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea and friends!

This free community event — in Sidney’s Beacon Park — is fun for the whole family. 11:00am-3:00pm

What’s happening:

  • Interactive and educational booths hosted by a wide-range of marine and environmental organizations*

  • Science show!

  • Touch pool

  • Photobooth

  • Facepainting

  • Artist demonstrations

  • Art tent and more!

*Including CRD Parks, CRD Environmental, DFO Stream to Sea, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, Let’s Talk Science, Victoria Natural History Society, & Seachange Marine Conservation Society, Peninsula Streams Society and MORE!
