Water Rangers: building community, from data to action

Ocean Week Toronto

May 24th 8:40 AM - 9:00 AM
Windsor, Ontario

How do we build a community-led movement for water?

As part of the International Association of Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) conference, join Kat Kavanagh, Water Rangers‘ executive director, for this interactive presentation on Water Rangers philosophy and community tools! We’ll talk about prototyping as a tool to try new ideas quickly!

Water Rangers is the freshwater partner of Ocean Week, and so we’re engaging with Great Lakes Scientists to discuss building communities that care for freshwater waterways and the ocean. We’ll discuss our upcoming ocean events and encourage everyone to celebrate with their organizations, communities, and families.

Note: you’ll need to be registered for the IAGLR conference to attend. Learn more about all our Ocean Week events here!
