Join our team of Science Educators & Aquarists for the season opening of the Petty Harbour Mini Aquarium!

See live marine fish and invertebrates from our local waters, who will call our catch-and-release aquarium home for a short few months before returning to the sea.

Throughout the day, our aquarists will host live water testing demonstrations using Water Rangers tools, offering a peek into how we care for marine habitats. Visitors can try out simple tests for salinity, pH, and more—getting a hands-on feel for the science behind the scenes. Whether you’re just starting to explore marine science or already passionate about the ocean, this event will be interactive, accessible, and inspiring for everyone!
