Dive into Oceans Week with a collaborative event on the Halifax waterfront. Through Project Aware’s Dive Against Debris, Blowing Bubbles, and Torpedo Rays Scuba Adventures, certified divers can register to partake in an ocean cleanup dive in the Halifax Harbour to document the types of plastic collected. Non-divers are encouraged to participate in a shoreline cleanup with Plastic Ocean’s Canada, virtually explore the ocean through Ocean School’s immersive experiences, and learn what it takes to be a scuba diver with The Nudigirls. Join us on the Halifax Waterfront on June 11th for a celebration of Canada’s Ocean Playground.

Registration is required to participate in the dive itself. Note that you must show proof of certification. 

If you would like the full Dive Against Debris specialty certification, the cost is $125.
