On May 27th, Watersheds Canada will join North Hastings Community Integration Association to host a hands-on workshop as part of their new Nature Discovery Backpack lending program. Designed for people who use the Association’s services and their families, the workshop will offer an accessible and engaging introduction to nature exploration and water testing. Participants will explore local ecosystems using backpacks filled with field guides, exploration tools, and Water Rangers testkits. With a focus on tactile and visual learning, the event creates space for participants of various learning levels to connect with freshwater environments and learn about stewardship in ways that are meaningful to them.
