The Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition together with the Johnson Geo Centre and supporting partners, invite you to a free evening concert with Fortunate Ones!
Join us at the Johnson Geo Centre on June 1st at 7:00 PM for an evening celebrating the ocean. This concert is the kick off to Ocean Week Canada 2023, an annual national celebration of ocean events, learning, and engagement.
*tickets are limited to 1 per person
Ocean Week Canada 2023 runs from June 2-11 and includes over 120 events across the country that bring together individuals, organizations, communities, government agencies, artists, and more to raise awareness about the importance of connecting to, and protecting, the ocean.
Fortunate Ones, a critically acclaimed Canadian folk-pop duo, will take the stage to captivate you with their soulful harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. This evening concert creates an opportunity for people to connect over music, the ocean, and community.
Food will be available from food truck(s) on-site and drinks will be available for purchase. We encourage you to come early to secure a good spot, grab a bite to eat, and explore the Johnson Geo Centre’s beautiful location on Signal Hill.
