From the Harbour to the Sea: Science Café

June 2nd 2023 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Hamilton, Ontario

Grab a drink and learn about Hamilton Harbour’s connection to the ocean at Bay Area Restoration Council’s first ever science café!

Hosted at the historic Staircase Theatre in Hamilton, Ontario, this event will feature talks by local experts in a light-hearted casual style.

Strange as it may sound, Hamilton is deeply connected to the world’s ocean! As a working class town built on industry, Hamilton has close ties to the global oceans – the Port of Hamilton is Ontario’s largest port and is the western marine gateway to the Greater Hamilton and Toronto Area. Our science café will illuminate just how actions in our Harbour connect to the ocean.
