Friday Night Social Paddle from Pacifica Brentwood Bay is hosted by Pacifica Paddle Sports and Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures.

This is a chance to connect with the paddling community while enjoying the surrounding scenery  of the Saanich Inlet and Brentwood Bay.  We appreciate the ocean by exploring our local waters around the Saanich Peninsula.

From boats to boards, if it paddles you’re welcome to get in on the fun. This is a relaxed pace paddle, to keep it beginner friendly. The Social Paddle is led by kayak and SUP guides and instructors, but it is not a formal tour or lesson. If you are looking for lessons or tours, those are offered separately by Pacifica Paddle Sports (kayak and SUP) and Blue Jellyfish (SUP).

We meet at Pacifica Paddle’s dock at Portside Marina, and we want to be on the water, ready to paddle by 6:00pm. Those with their own gear can enjoy this weekly event completely FREE! Please launch your own kayaks and paddleboards from the public beach access at Verdier Park, just to the left of the Brentwood Bay Ferry Terminal. Paddle around the ferry ramp and Portside Marina to our dock, on the shore side of the marina.

If you are renting from Pacifica, sign up for “Social Paddle with Equipment Rental”. Please arrive 20 minutes early to get set up with one of our kayaks or paddleboards. To rent a kayak or SUP, it’s just $30 + tax.
