Join Back to the Sea Scoiety and Alliance Française in Halifax to participate in a “rando-marée”or ‘tidal trekking’: a discovery walk around the flora and fauna found on the ocean shore between tides!

Rendez-vous:

  • on Saturday, June 1, 2024,
  • at 10:00 a.m.
  • on Purcell’s Cove Road at the entrance to the Regatta Point Walkway in Halifax.

This is a free family discovery activity, bilingual in French and in English, conducted in partnership with Back to the Sea Society and Ocean Week Halifax & Ocean Week Canada.

Capacity is limited to 20 people – registration required by Thursday May 30, 4:00 p.m.

NB: be aware that there are with a few rocks and possibility of putting hands in the water to explore the intertidal zone. All children aged 12 and under must be under the responsibility and supervision of a parent. A form will be sent to you upon registration.

As a gift, participants will receive an individual pass valid for one day of the 2024 season with Back to the Sea… to discover more of the seaside’s treasures.
