🐋 We’re proud to announce… the world is coming to Canada for the Humpback Whale World Congress!
For the very first time, the Humpback Whale World Congress will be held in Canada, in the legendary whale-watching town of Tadoussac, from October 15 to 19, 2025. This international gathering brings together the world’s leading experts, researchers, conservationists, and communities working to better understand and protect humpback whales.
To mark this major event, and as part of Ocean Week Canada, we’re thrilled to launch a brand-new 10-episode podcast series dedicated entirely to these majestic marine giants.
🎧 Each episode of Balad’EAU – Humpback Whale World Congress explores a different facet of the species: from their songs and migrations to the science behind their protection. You’ll meet the people who study them, work with them, and are inspired by them every day — from scientists and artists to Indigenous knowledge holders and seafarers.
📅 Launching June 8 for World Ocean Day, the series is your perfect companion to dive into the world of humpbacksand learn why they captivate so many hearts — and minds — around the globe.
