iNaturalist BioBlitz – Blitz the Gap 2025 at Irving Nature Park

This event is part of the Blitz the Gap 2025 project. It’s an iNaturalist BioBlitz, where participants are encouraged to document observations of plants, animals, and other organisms found at Irving Nature Park on June 1 and upload them to the iNaturalist app.

Goal: To help fill biodiversity data gaps in Canada—especially in under-sampled areas like New Brunswick—to support conservation planning.

Prizes will be awarded to the naturalists who submit the most observations within a 24-hour period.


Physical Accessibility:
The park features groomed trails, a gravel road, accessible washrooms, and amenities like lookouts and playgrounds, making it suitable for a wide range of physical abilities.
