Join Back to the Sea Society and Ocean Week Halifax in a free family-friendly ‘tidal trek’: a discovery walk to learn about the flora and fauna found along to intertidal zone in Halifax!
When: Friday, June 5, 2024 5:30pm – 7pm (1.5 hours)
Where: Purcell’s Cove Road at the entrance to the Regatta Point Walkway in Halifax.

The Back to the Sea Society is a non-profit organization in Nova Scotia that operates a seasonal Touch Tank Hut, a miniature marine interpretive centre with a collect-hold-and-release philosophy, where visitors can interact with local maritime species collected by scientific divers. Through hands-on learning experiences like this, Back to the Sea aims to spark curiosity about marine life and inspire a desire to protect the ocean.
