Past work includes MicroWorlds, a sculptural hand embroidery series focused on the small and unseen, and Stranglehold, a wearable art collection inspired by toxic algae blooms. Their current practice incorporates freehand machine embroidery, sustainably foraged plant fibers, and science communication. Since 2022, they’ve been gathering and drying plant-based materials, and often use thrifted or crowdsourced items, aiming to make embroidery both more sculptural and environmentally sustainable without compromising quality.
