écH2osystème: from river to stage

July 22nd 2022 2:22 PM - 4:00 PM
Montreal, Ontario

An innovative presentation combining acrobatic spectacle and interactive discussion about the fusion of artistic imagination and maritime science!

Geneviève Dupéré will present her work-in-progress From River to Stage featuring écH2osystème, a documentary-type performing arts project.

The title écH2osystème refers to the marine ecosystem of the St. Lawrence River, to the richness of its waters, and how it echoes in our society.

Through her work as a doctoral candidate at UQAM, artistic-researcher at CRITAC (the Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer in Circus Arts), and professor at the National Theatre School, Geneviève pursues research-creation as a dynamic way of knowing, based on a complex ecosystem of which we are part.
